Project Overview:
In 2025, Daniel Price Art & Design was approached to undertake the branding for One Tidy Garden. The client requested a full rebrand to be launched for undergoing a rebrand of his business, with a focus on one-off garden tidy-ups. Subsequently, business cards were required shortly after.
Design Challenge:
A significant rebrand for the company. The project required working closely with the client to provide a complete logo set that was to become the new visual identity for the business. The logo had to be evocative of the business' specialty in garden clean-ups, while also being highly adaptable to a large potential of applications for the brand.
Creative Solution:
Building on an idea image of a half-groomed shrub provided by the client as a foundation for the visual direction, and creating stylized concepts for the client to choose from. The final logo leads by combining the 'O' for the company name with the idea of movement from messy to tidy. The logo draws on the process of tidying a shrub, hedge or lawn to evoke a sense of 'before & after' to give prospective clients a sense of the business' purpose; along with a one-way arrow. The solid frame of the logo is balanced by a slightly lighter-weight serifed font, to convey tradition, respect, and reliability as per common typographic theory.
Project Results:
The client was provided with logos in all vector and raster formats, to maximize compatibility and malleability with future applications of the brand. Along with a set of brand guidelines that communicates and encourages ideal future usage. The logo is the present identity of One Tidy Garden
