Project Overview:

The client requested a digital banner for an email newsletter that he was going to be featured in as a sponsor. This banner was then adapted when he also was an ad sponsor for the Avonhead-Russley Community Network directory.

Design Challenge:

This project required a banner to be created, in a format that would be easily inserted into an email newsletter, which would then be hyperlinked to his online profile. The original project only needed the client's name, photo, role and company to be featured in an eye-catching and appealing manner. This banner was then required to be altered with contact details, and adjusted to prescribed dimensions for the directory feature.

Creative Solution:

Utilizing the logomark and abstract elements to create a backdrop for the work. The client's photo and details text were superimposed over the top in the company colours to maintain brand identity. Similar visual direction was taken for the ARCN Directory ad to maintain consistency. The images were formatted into portable network graphics that could easily be inserted within an email blast & have hyperlinks applied to it.

Project Results:

The client approved the designs and the banner went out in the next newsletter and the ad in the directory was distributed to over 7000 homes in the Avonhead / Russley area.
