Project Description: St. Christopher's Easter Services 2025

Client: St. Christopher's Anglican Church

Project Overview:

St Christophers Church requested landscape and portrait advertising for all the services and events during the Easter Holy Week.

Design Challenge:

This project required presentation of all the necessary information to do with the events during the week-long period, so was reasonably heavy with text - the goal here was to create graphics that would hook people's attention to get them to stop and look, while maintaining the tone that Easter required. Instead of quick-fire info distribution that is necessary for some other advertising. The target audience was to be aimed primarily towards the parishioners, and issue all information on each of the services / events.

Creative Solution:

Development of hooking graphics primarily on the headings and background became paramount to engage viewers, with the text issuing necessary information. A limited colour palette was used to help ensure that the text was not drowned in the detail. this was achieved by applying tinted screens over the top of the associated imagery - in order to lessen the impact of the artwork detail on any text. A creative approach to the overall heading involves common motif and symbols for Easter in order to attract attention, combined with colour - it also becomes evocative of the overall tone.

Project Results:

The design exceeded requirements, and the events over this Easter period garnered a significant attendance. The advertising was well-received and effectively conveyed the information needed.
