Project Description: St. Christopher's Fair Posters 2020-present

Client: St. Christopher's Anglican Church

Project Overview:

A repeating project alongside the organizers of the parish community Fair. A series of posters and advertising suites have been getting developed by Daniel Price Art & Design since 2020

Design Challenge:

The client requires eye-catching and energetic compositions in order to advertise their annual community Fair. The advertising needs to deliver details on when, where, and what's on offer at the event. While being evocative of the family-oriented and energetic atmosphere. The designs usually need to be unique each year and be adaptable for different formats.

Creative Solution:

Compositions are usually centered around bold colour schemes, and eye-catching, fun fonts to convey the desired tone. Imagery that is used is usually centered around fairgrounds, carnivals or circus-related motifs. Text is usually having to be carefully placed and laid out in relation to the images in order to not overwhelm the viewer, as there is a bit more information to convey in these projects.

Project Results:

Posters are usually well-received and distributed widely throughout the surrounding communities. The fairs have drawn a good amount of community interest and interaction, with the help of the distributed advertising material.
