Project Description: St. Christopher's Church Christmas Events Advertising (2019-Present)

Client: St. Christopher's Anglican Church

Project Overview:

Another repeating project each year since 2019. The client requires a variety of items advertising various elements of their Advent & Christmas services, community engagement and events.

Design Challenge:

Like the book fair collateral, these designs are to be adapted to landscape, square thumbnail, and portrait formats. Which then in turn get used for signage, posters, flyer drops, and service booklets, which also are formatted by Daniel Price Art & Design. Variety between years while maintaining consistency between the individual events remains paramount to the project, along with the concise delivery of necessary information. As Christmas is, for some, the only time they might be present in a church - the designs also need to be composed in such a way that it can also speak to them, along with the consistent parishioners.

Creative Solution:

Different overall designs have been developed from year to year using relevant imagery and motif. The designs seek to convey to viewers snapshots of the nativity / Christmas story. This is provided as a backdrop for information to be presented on. New compositions are created each year. Designs are designed in 3 different formats: in a square format, landscape format (at A1) and in an A3 portrait format - which can be scaled down for A4 & A5 posters/flyers. These have critical layout and background elements carried between the versions to maintain a consistent visual identity and create uniformity in the multitude of variety.

Project Results:

The project still maintains presently, and new designs are always required.
