Project Description: Te Waiora House DL Flyers

Client: Te Waiora Trust

Project Overview:

In 2023, a representative of the Te Waiora Trust approached Daniel Price Art & Design about updating the flyers advertising their Te Waiora House for Christian retreats and accommodation in the Selwyn District in Canterbury.

Design Challenge:

The client found that their previous flyers were becoming dated and graphically tired. So it was necessary to provide a fresh and revitalized look to their advertising. The brief required necessary information, and aesthetically appealing photos of the facilities to be presented in a trendy and more modern manner than the previous flyers.

Creative Solution:

Using updated layouts, utilizing images of the facilities to separate out sections of relevant text as well as form natural base graphics for the flyers - Daniel Price Art & Design formulated some DL sized (99 x 210mm) flyers that could easily be put in mailboxes or into standees that effectively communicated information on the Te Waiora House and what it offers. Imagery of the landscapes and tranquil surroundings also provided stylistic 'bookends' to the advertising, allowing the eye to naturally descend from a startpoint, through the information to a satisfactory endpoint.

Project Results:

With a little advising on the content being presented to promote the facility in a succinct manner, which was also inclusive of all necessary information, and through work corresponding with the board of trustees for the organization, and with organization for production of the flyers via a third-party provider in the Selwyn area. A run of 500 double-sided flyers were collected by the Trust and distributed into their community.
