Project Description: St. Christopher's Christ the King Service Advertising

Client: St. Christopher's Anglican Church

Project Overview:

St Christophers Church approached Daniel Price Art & Design to advertise for a special combined service in 2023 marking the last Sunday before advent (essentially the end of a liturgical year).

Design Challenge:

The project required the creation of their usual advertising suite that clearly communicated necessary details of the special service in an artistic manner. The general impression of the design had to be one of royalty and a coronation.

Creative Solution:

A image depicting crowns and Jesus was formulated to be a graphic focal point within the layout. This had gold text that was was paired with colour blocking in purple (colors typically associated with royalty), and a simple presentation of the necessary information in order to balance the detail of the focal artwork.

Project Results:

The design was found to be eye catching and received well by both client and viewers. It effectively communicated the details of the service and the client is considering repeating the design for future instances of the service.
